UnFURL

These collages uses a series of 4-color risographs of photograph depicting edaphoectotropism- or when trees envelope objects around them like fences, bricks, and signs. Curious about cyclical processes of decay and growth, this print series uses themes of unfurling and transformation. I used collage to both create a composition that mimics an unfurling truck, but also highlight the anomalies within the risograph printing process. The collage composition is meant to exemplify the theme of nature breaching its borders and acts as a metaphor for confining internal bodily experiences.
